River City CrossFit is a diverse community of coaches and athletes committed to forging elite fitness.
Our programming is designed to get you results. It is essentially cardio, gymnastics and strength training rolled into one efficient package. We perform pull-ups, pushups, handstands and box jumps. We lift weights, swing kettlebells, climb ropes and throw medicine balls. We run, row, jump rope and use gymnastics rings. We mix all of these elements together to challenge you and ensure that you never get bored.
Our coaches are responsible for ensuring that your workout is not easy nor is it impossible. That your form and range of motion are correct, that your speed and intensity are appropriate, that the exercises and weights are adjusted to your fitness level, and that you have a plan for long-term success.
At River City CrossFit our goal is to improve people’s quality of life through fitness. As a member, you will receive one-on-one coaching and nutritional counseling from us. Prior to joining our CrossFit group classes, everyone that is new to CrossFit must participate in a 6-week fundamentals course. This program designed to gradually introduce the movements, training and intensity found in our group classes.
CrossFit Group Classes
These instructor-led group workouts are highly motivating and fully of energy. They consist of cardio, gymnastics and strength training rolled into one.
Strength and Conditioning Classes
Our strength and conditioning classes focus on building strength and flexibility. We use the barbell to teach and perform Olympic lifts, squats, presses, and dead lifts. These exercises are functional, full range-of-motion, compound movements. Barbell training requires the lifter himself to stabilize, balance and control the load through a full range of motion. This fact is unique to barbell training and completely absent in machine-based training.

The CrossFit Endurance classes are designed to allow CrossFit athletes to still CrossFit, compete in endurance sports, as well as bring a standard to running. It gives a unique opportunity for endurance athletes to learn another significant way to effectively train for any event they wish to compete in.
